Online Counselling and Psychotherapy

Does something feel off? Maybe you can’t name it yet. Maybe you know precisely what it is. But naming it, understanding it and actually changing it feel worlds apart.

That’s where counselling comes in.

I’m Chris Sharp — a BACP-registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I work with people online, across the UK and beyond, helping them make sense of what they’re carrying and find a way through that actually fits their life. Online counselling sessions provide flexibility to work wherever and whenever you are most comfortable. Find out more aboutonline counselling.

My approach is person-centred, which means you set the agenda and you are the expert on your own life. There’s no fixed programme to follow, no homework, no being told what to do. Just a consistent, confidential space where you can think out loud alongside someone who genuinely wants to understand your experience and won’t judge what you say.

My role is to help you make sense of your experiences, discover your own insights, and find ways forward that feel right for you. Part of the healing power lies in being truly known and understood by another person, part comes from spotting patterns and beliefs that keep you stuck, and part is about finding tools and techniques that work for you.

I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, life transitions, and that harder-to-name feeling of being stuck or disconnected from yourself. If you’re not sure whether what you’re dealing with “counts” — it does. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling.

If you’re curious whether online counselling might help, the best first step is getting in touch.
